Our group analyzed  the current influx of street children in Kisumu. This problem has multiple causes so we sort to  apply what we learnt from the complexity and systems thinking toolkits to both analyze the problem and try to develop a systemic solution. Finding a solution in the beginning was difficult because we didn’t really know how best to  help the street children. After this program, we got a different outlook to people living on the streets and especially having it as something people choose to ignore. We gained knowledge that helped shape our solution and the activities we undertook to engage with the street children.
